Finally happened what many Ukrainian internet buyers longed for, but no-one really believed.
Up to 150 EUR (UHR equivalent) exemption from VAT for imported “small consignments” – was adopted in the 1st reading the draft law, thus lifting by 50 Euro current exemption from VAT for imported “small consignments” .
At the moment it constitutes value up to 100 EUR, combined with customs duty relief for consignments with value up to 150 EUR.
I guess it might be perks for getting access to transactional data relating to e-Commerce. And as with New Economic Policy (1921-1924), which ended as ” outmoded social-economic system in a new socialist manner”.
Likewise, this “150 € exemption from VAT” might result in ending in a new EU manner. Namely, by introducing ” VAT for imported “small consignments” with value up to 10 or 22 €.”
So it looks like Ukrainian Government to offer Perks for e-commerce fiscal data on low-cost import . Yet for how long?
